A. Lange & Söhne Unveils Saxonia Thin Onyx Editions in Platinum and Honey Gold
A. Lange & Söhne is set to unveil two new special editions of the Saxonia Thin, crafted in platinum and honey gold, featuring a striking deep black onyx dial. The watches will be available from October 2025.
The new editions, dubbed Onyx Editions, boast a near-mirror-like deep black onyx dial with rhodium-plated hands and gold appliqués. Each watch is meticulously assembled twice to ensure the elimination of even the smallest irregularities.
Powered by the manufacture caliber L093.1, one of the thinnest movements of the brand at just 2.9 millimeters, the watch offers a 72-hour power reserve. The platinum version creates a cool, contrasting overall impression, while the honey gold version exudes a warm, harmonious character. Both models have a diameter of 40 millimeters and a case height of 6.2 millimeters, with short, gently curved lugs for comfort.
Limited to 200 pieces each worldwide, the A. Lange & Söhne Saxonia Thin Onyx editions in 950 platinum and 750 honey gold are set to retail for approximately €51,750 (£45,100 / US$61,000) when they become available in October 2025. They will be available from selected A. Lange & Söhne boutiques and via the brand's official website.
