Amberg's Taxi Penschok Goes Digital With Free Now by Lyft
Amberg's Taxi Penschok, established in 1980 and led by Benjamin Vogel since 2023, has embraced the digital age. The company has partnered with Free Now by Lyft, a leading European taxi app, to enhance its services. Free Now, now under the leadership of David Risher who also heads Lyft, has equipped Taxi Penschok with a state-of-the-art digital dispatch system. This integration allows the taxi company to manage its fleet of up to 15 vehicles, including large-capacity taxis, electric and hybrid vehicles, and limousines, more efficiently. Customers can now enjoy a seamless experience, with the option to book via the app store or phone, and benefit from cashless payment methods. The system cleverly combines app reservations, phone orders, and personal customer services onto one central platform. With this upgrade, Taxi Penschok aims to cater to both its loyal customers and new tech-savvy clients. The digital dispatch system, provided by Free Now by Lyft, is set to improve service quality and accessibility, making Taxi Penschok a more competitive player in the Amberg taxi market.
