Arc Pro B50 Intel GPU performs up to 20% slower than the Arc B570 in initial Geekbench benchmarks, roughly doubling the A50's score in synthetic tests.
The tech world is abuzz with anticipation for Intel's Arc Pro B50, a professional-grade graphics card that promises to make waves in the industry. Although the exact release date is yet to be announced, recent developments suggest it may be just around the corner.
Maxsun, a manufacturer involved in the shipping of the Arc Pro GPUs, has indicated that they intend to ship the B50 and B60 models soon. This comes after Intel's initial plan for an August release was delayed. It's worth noting that the Arc Pro B60 was released on September 19, 2025.
The Arc Pro B50 is based on the Battlemage architecture, the third iteration of Intel's contemporary graphics IP. This architecture powers both the B50 and B60, designed for workstation scenarios.
The B50 boasts several notable features, including more VRAM, support for PCIe 5.0, and a 70W TDP. It doesn't require additional PCIe cables, making it a more streamlined option for workstation setups. The graphics card comes with 16GB of GDDR6 memory across a 128-bit bus.
In terms of performance, the Arc Pro B50 has been benchmarked, revealing scores of 78,661 points in the Vulkan GPU test and 69,890 points in the OpenCL test. While it's behind the gaming-oriented B570 by approximately 15% in OpenCL and 20% in Vulkan, it outperforms the previous Arc Pro GPU, the Pro A50, by more than 40% in the best A50 score found on Geekbench.
Intel unveiled the Arc Pro B50 as part of its new lineup of professional GPUs at Computex. The benchmark was conducted on a Colorful CVN X870 Ark Frozen motherboard with a Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor and 32GB of 6400MT/s DDR5 memory.
As we await the official release, it's clear that the Arc Pro B50 is shaping up to be a formidable contender in the professional graphics card market. Maxsun's statement indicates that the shipping of the Arc Pro GPUs may be imminent, adding to the excitement surrounding this long-awaited release. Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to the launch of the Intel Arc Pro B50.
