Artificial Intelligence titans Prevision and Dow Jones Factiva team up to develop revolutionary AI-driven Risk and Compliance solutions.

In a groundbreaking move, Presight, a leading global AI and big data analytics company, and Dow Jones Factiva have joined forces to co-develop AI-native risk and compliance solutions. This collaboration aims to redefine how institutions approach risk and set a new benchmark for the modern risk function.

Joel Lange, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Dow Jones Risk & Research, expressed his commitment to arming customers with the tools needed to meet their needs. Thomas Pramotedham, CEO of Presight, echoed this sentiment, stating that the collaboration is committed to redefining how institutions approach risk, with the potential to mark a pivotal step in the development of next-generation risk solutions.

The initial flagship solutions from this collaboration include:

  1. KYC & UBO Agent: This solution aims to map complex, hidden ownership and beneficial ownership structures worldwide by triangulating regulatory filings, leaked documents, and open-source intelligence.
  2. Sustainability Tracker: This tool provides real-time surveillance of sustainability controversies, compliance breaches, and evolving regulatory expectations.
  3. Legal & Policy Risk Agent: This agent detects cross-border legal shifts, enforcement trends, and subtle changes in policy risks before they affect operations.
  4. Adverse Media Monitoring: This offering provides sentiment-aware analytics to identify emerging reputational threats from media sources.
  5. Sanctions Intelligence Engine: This engine identifies indirect exposures to sanctioned entities via trade and ownership networks.

These solutions leverage generative AI, explainable models, and real-time contextual reasoning, deployed within sovereign-grade secure environments compliant with strict data residency and security regulations. This enables compliance teams to move from reactive to predictive risk management.

The collaboration, rooted in the GCC's regulatory innovation and national AI infrastructure, will initially serve sovereign wealth funds, central banks, Tier 1 banks, and supervisory authorities across the UAE and wider Gulf. Further expansion into strategic corridors such as Southeast Asia, Central Asia, North Africa, the UK, and the United States is under discussion.

The joint offering from Presight and Dow Jones Factiva could serve global financial institutions and regulators with tools that are as intelligent as they are actionable. This collaboration could elevate compliance and risk management to meet the demands of tomorrow.
