Astana Unveils Robotics Lab, Boosts Digital Finance with International Partners

Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, is set to host a new specialized robotics laboratory, a result of a collaboration between Astana Hub and UNITREE. This initiative is based on the existing Center for Artificial Intelligence, Alem.ai. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development has been actively engaging with international companies to boost digital finance and infrastructure.

The robotics laboratory, a joint venture between Astana Hub and UNITREE, will be a significant addition to the city's tech landscape. It will operate under the umbrella of Alem.ai, the city's Center for Artificial Intelligence. While details about other international partners are scarce, Binance Kazakhstan is mentioned as a strategic partner for the Alem Crypto Fund, initiated by the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development.

The recent International Digital Bridge 2025 forum in Astana saw extensive collaboration. The event, the largest of its kind in Central Eurasia, resulted in 41 memorandums being signed. These agreements focused on developing digital finance and modernizing digital infrastructure. Key partnerships include Telegram for setting up a specialized KI-Labor and Mastercard for stablecoin development.

The opening of the robotics laboratory and the successful forum signify Astana's commitment to advancing its tech sector. These initiatives, backed by international collaborations, are expected to drive innovation and growth in robotics, artificial intelligence, and digital finance in Kazakhstan.
