Get ready, folks! The leading trade fairs for event and entertainment technology, Prolight + Sound, and the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA), are teaming up. Mark your calendars for September 12 to 15, 2022, because IAAPA Expo Europe in London will host Prolight + Sound's exhibition stand. IAAPA is also planning to jet off to Frankfurt for Prolight + Sound next year.
Amusement parks have transformed into hubs for manufacturers of lighting, sound, stage, and AV media technology. They're brimming with show stages and elaborately themed attractions and special events, making them major customers for these tech giants. The international attractions industry, much like the entertainment industry, is battling the ramifications of the pandemic—including a labor shortage.
