Business magnate Enrique Razon's company, Bloomberry, accelerating digital gaming ventures following financial losses reported.

In a bid to strengthen its online gaming platform's competitiveness, Enrique Razon, Chairman and CEO of Bloomberry, announced plans for more content and enhancements [1]. This push towards digital gambling expansion is part of Bloomberry’s broader strategy to grow its online gaming operations alongside its traditional casino businesses.

The company's digital gambling efforts seem to be paying off, as Bloomberry's online gaming platform has outperformed competitors such as DigiPlus [2]. In June 2025, Bloomberry expanded its online gaming presence with the launch of a new platform called "MegaFUNalo!" [4].

While specific upcoming features for MegaFUNalo have not been detailed, it's likely that the company will focus on broadening its game offerings and integrating more interactive features to enhance user engagement. This strategy reflects a wider industry trend towards digital gambling expansion.

Meanwhile, DigiPlus, which offers online bingo, sports betting, and internet-based casino games, has over 40 million registered users. However, Eusebio Tanco's DigiPlus saw a net profit of 4.2 billion pesos in Q2 2022, a 31% increase compared to the same quarter a year ago [3].

Bloomberry, on the other hand, posted a net loss of 1.4 billion pesos in Q2 2022, a stark contrast to the net profit of the same amount a year ago [3]. Operating expenses at Bloomberry jumped 21% to 12 billion pesos during Q2 2022, with 461 million pesos being incurred for the online gaming platform that started in Q2 2022 [2].

In the world beyond digital gambling, Enrique Razon Jr., with a real-time net worth of $12.4 billion, also has stakes in global port operator ICTSI, as well as in energy, mining, and water utilities. Eusebio Tanco, with a net worth of $1.2 billion, also has interests in education, logistics, and shipping.

In a separate note, LinkedIn, the professional networking platform, is offering a variety of games such as "Pinpoint", "Queens", "Crossclimb", and a trivia ladder game.
