Get ready, Splatoon 3 fans! The much-anticipated Splatfest event is set to take place from Friday, April 11 at 6:00 p.m. PT to Sunday, April 13 at 6:00 p.m. PT. This time around, the debate will focus on productivity: whether it's higher in the morning, noon, or night.

Splatfests are a staple in the Splatoon series, offering players a unique opportunity to join a themed competition, choose their team, and engage in lively Turf War battles. In Splatoon 3, Splatfests have grown even bigger, with three-team battles adding a new dynamic to the event.

During the Splatfest, players will participate in Tricolor Turf War battles, a 4v2v2 ink-tense match where one big team defends the middle against two smaller teams on opposite sides of the map. The winning team is determined by a combination of factors, not just the popular vote.

Points are assigned in each category, with the top-ranked team earning the highest points. These points, combined, decide the winner of the Splatfest, and the winning team's choice is declared the "valid" answer to the question according to Splatfest Law.

To join the Splatfest, players need a Nintendo Switch Online membership (sold separately) and a Nintendo Account. Participants can earn 100 Platinum Points by playing during the event, whether they're participating in the debate or not.

Paid members will also receive icon elements for their user profile by early May. These themed icon elements can be received by visiting Nintendo Switch Online from the HOME Menu after completing the mission.

It's important to note that data charges may apply during Splatfests, and internet and a compatible smart device are required to use the app in Splatfests. Additionally, participation in the Splatfest is optional, but rewards can still be earned by playing during the event.

Splatfests are not available in all countries, so make sure to check if they're accessible in your region. For more information about Splatfests, visit the official Splatoon 3 website.

In essence, Splatfests provide a fun, community-focused competition with unique themes that engage players in cooperation and rivalry through lively Turf War battles in Splatoon 3. Get ready to join the debate and show your colours!
