Streaming Service Peacock Updates Pricing and Offers
Peacock, NBCUniversal's streaming service, has announced changes to its plans and offers in 2023. Here's what you need to know about the updated Peacock pricing and promotions.
Peacock Premium, the basic all-access plan, costs $7.99 per month or $79.99 per year. This plan includes access to Peacock Originals, Universal movies, and live-streamed sports, but viewers will need to sit through ads.
For those seeking an ad-free experience, Peacock Premium Plus is available at a cost of $13.99 per month or $139.99 per year. This top tier plan also includes the ability to download and watch selected titles offline.
Unfortunately, the previously available deals to save money on Peacock trial sessions are no longer available. However, there are several ways to get a discount or promo code for a Peacock Premium or Premium Plus subscription.
One such offer is the Spring Savings Promo Code, "SPRINGSAVINGS", which gives a Peacock Premium annual subscription for only $24.99, a significant 75% off the regular price. This deal is available throughout May 2025.
Eligible military members can pay just $3.99/month for Peacock Premium for 12 months, saving $48 annually. Teachers, faculty, and staff at public or private institutions, medical professionals, first responders, and students can also benefit from discounted rates with appropriate verification.
Do note that these discounts or promo codes often require verification of eligibility and usually apply for the first 12 months only; after that, standard pricing resumes unless renewed. Promo codes generally cannot be stacked, so only one code can be applied per account at a time.
Peacock is the exclusive US home of the Eurovision Song Contest and offers live sports and events, including Premier League soccer, golf, and "Sunday Night Football." However, Peacock no longer offers a free trial.
Peacock can be streamed on various devices such as computers, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Samsung Smart TV, Chromecast, LG Smart TVs, Xbox, and PlayStation games consoles. Information on how to watch Peacock on these devices can be found elsewhere in this article.
Next-day access to current NBC/Bravo hits like "Below Deck" and "Real Housewives" is offered to both Peacock Premium and Peacock Premium Plus subscribers. Additionally, Peacock Originals like "Girls5eva" and "Rutherford Falls" are available to these subscribers.
To watch content on Peacock, viewers will need to pay for at least one month of service. Apple TV Plus and some free streaming services are the only streamers still offering free trials. For more information on Peacock and its offerings, visit the official website.
