Chita's Water Supply to Improve Dramatically with New Intake by 2028

Chita residents will soon benefit from a significant improvement in their water supply. Governor Alexander Osiпов has announced a major project to build a new water intake, with construction set to begin in 2028. This project is part of Chita's master plan and is backed by various ministries and the PPC 'Fund for Territorial Development'.

The project, valued at 260 million rubles, will provide over 150,000 residents with access to quality water. The local municipal water utility company is leading the project management. Before construction begins, design work will commence in 2023 and is expected to be completed by 2028. This design phase has also been allocated 260 million rubles.

In addition to the water intake, a two-level interchange will be built at the intersection of Shilova and General Belik. This interchange will help to ease traffic congestion in the area and improve overall infrastructure.

The new water intake and interchange projects in Chita are expected to greatly improve the city's infrastructure and the quality of life for its residents. With the support of various ministries and the PPC 'Fund for Territorial Development', these projects are set to be completed by 2028.
