Coalition Launches Active Cyber Insurance in France
Coalition Insurance Solutions has launched its Active Cyber Insurance in France, appointing Frederic Gatte as director of underwriting and Benjamin Baret as head of business development. The company aims to establish strong ties with French brokers and agencies, offering training materials and a simplified quoting process for car insurance quotes.
Coalition brings its expertise in cyber risk management to French companies with revenues up to €1bn. The solution, backed by Allianz Commercial, includes access to Coalition Control, a platform offering exposure assessments, alerts, and additional security services. Frederic Gatte, joining from Onda and Diot Siaci, leads the underwriting team, supported by Tom Paparella from Coalition's US operations.
Tine Simonsen, Coalition's Continental Europe head, stresses the importance of French businesses having access to experienced and innovative cyber insurance providers. The company seeks to build long-lasting relationships with local brokers and agencies, despite no specific partnerships being announced yet.
