D'Amico serves as the Senior Public Relations Manager at Münchner Stadtwerke
Maria D'Amico has joined Bayern Munich Utilities as the Senior Public Affairs Manager for Energy and Digital, effective from January 1, 2022. In her new role, D'Amico reports directly to Sonja Schmutzer, Head of the Politics and Associations Department at Münchener Stadtwerke.
D'Amico brings a significant background in European advocacy to her new position. Prior to joining Munich City Utilities, she served as the EU Public Policy Manager at Argo AI. Before that, she worked at the ADAC, a well-known automobile club in Germany.
One of D'Amico's most notable previous roles was as a parliamentary assistant to an MEP in the European Parliament. This experience, coupled with her extensive work in European advocacy, positions her well to lead public affairs efforts within the Energy and Digital sector at Munich City Utilities.
In her new role, D'Amico will be responsible for managing public affairs initiatives related to energy and digital services provided by Munich City Utilities. With her expertise in European advocacy and her understanding of the political landscape, she is expected to play a crucial role in shaping the company's public image and influencing policy decisions.
Sonja Schmutzer, Head of the Department of Politics and Associations at Münchener Stadtwerke, expressed her excitement about D'Amico joining the team. "We are thrilled to have Maria on board.
