Digital Innopolis Days 2025: Nizhny Novgorod Unveils Industrial Robotics Center

The Digital Innopolis Days 2025 forum is underway, featuring tracks on industrial and service robotics, AI application, business education, and technology development. The Nizhny Novgorod region is actively involved, with the creation of the Industrial Robotics Development Center being a key highlight.

The center is being established at NGTU named after R.E. Alekseev, with the support of the Nizhny Novgorod region government. Sergei Mantserov, Director of the Industrial Robotics Development Center, is working on creating infrastructure and forming tasks for specialists with industrial partners. As of my knowledge in December 2023, Oleg Leonidovich Egorov was named as the leader of the center, succeeding R.E. Alekseev. However, it's recommended to verify the latest information directly with the center or the university.

The center's stand at the forum displays advanced solutions such as a robotic welding cell, VR welding simulator, diagnostic apparatus, and a collaborative robotic cell for handling fragile glass products. Scientists from Nizhny Novgorod are presenting developments at the forum that will form the basis of the center. The project is funded by federal grant funds as part of the national project 'Means of production and automation'.

Deputy Governor of Nizhny Novgorod region, Andrei Sanosyan, supports the project, stating it increases industry efficiency and reduces personnel needs. The forum is led by a delegation from the region, headed by Deputy Chairman of the regional government, Ekaterina Solntseva.

The Industrial Robotics Development Center is set to advance robotics and automation in the Nizhny Novgorod region. With federal funding and regional support, the center is expected to enhance industry efficiency and reduce personnel needs. The latest developments presented at the Digital Innopolis Days 2025 forum will form the foundation of this innovative project.
