In a bid to bolster Egypt's digital transformation and address the growing demand for cybersecurity and telecommunications experts, the Egypt's National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) has teamed up with Cyshield, a leading cybersecurity solutions provider, to launch the **Digital Egypt Youth - HireReady Telecom Network Security Training Program**. This 4-month initiative is focused on enhancing practical skills in network security, DevOps engineering, and cybersecurity, with the aim of preparing youth for employment in these sectors.

The program, which is part of the larger Digital Egypt Youth - HireReady initiative, will run for four months and is open to graduates from engineering and computing disciplines within the past five years. It is designed to equip participants with practical expertise in securing communication networks across multiple generations, from 2G to 5G.

The training program offers intensive modules on protecting legacy (2G/3G) and next-generation (4G/5G) network environments. Participants will receive hands-on instruction in networking fundamentals, ethical hacking, Linux, Python, Docker, and threat mitigation techniques specific to modern telecom infrastructures. The program also includes real project involvement to prepare participants for professional work environments.

The initiative is a significant step toward developing a robust cybersecurity workforce to support Egypt's digital transformation agenda. It is focused on preparing graduates for careers in cybersecurity and telecommunications, with the goal of meeting the strong local and regional market demand in these fields.

The application deadline for the program, which was initially extended, has been set as June 28, 2025. Interested individuals are encouraged to visit the official program page or contact the program organisers directly for precise eligibility requirements and application procedures. Training for the program is scheduled to commence on July 19, 2025.
