Eight up-and-coming businesses deserving exploration

In a flurry of activity, eight European startups have recently secured significant investments, setting the stage for their growth and development. Among them is Project Q, a defense tech startup based in Munich and Berlin, which raised €7.5 million in a Seed funding round.

Project Q: Bridging Civilian Tech and Military Systems

Led by Project A Ventures, with participation from Expeditions Fund and Superangel, Project Q's funding will be used to expand their team, develop their product further, and initiate pilot projects with European armed forces and security agencies. The startup's focus is on enhancing sovereignty and modernizing defense by fusing heterogeneous battlefield data into coherent intelligence for military decision-making.

Project Q's product, the Q-Open Source Platform (Q-OSP), is a modular, AI-driven, interoperable software platform that integrates sensors and data to provide real-time situational awareness for defense operations. By bridging the gap between civilian tech and military systems, Project Q aims to revolutionize the way defense operations are conducted.

CEO Leonard Wessendorff, with a consulting and German Army reserve officer background, leads the charge at Project Q.
