Electric campervan by Farizon could potentially pioneer a wave of electric vehicle adoption in the UK's automotive landscape in the coming times.

Chinese commercial vehicle maker Farizon has made waves in the campervan industry with the launch of its all-electric X-Van, based on the company's Super Van platform. However, for those in the UK hoping to get their hands on this innovative vehicle, there's some disappointing news: no short- or medium-term plans have been announced to bring the X-Van to the UK.

The X-Van boasts a range of up to 460km, a 170kW motor, and features such as an electrically raising roof with a bed and an expandable shower space. With a size that's suitable for everyday use, measuring 5.02m in length and 2.14m in height, the X-Van is a compact yet powerful campervan option.

In contrast, Farizon's other electric commercial vans are already making their way into the UK market. Sales of the Farizon SV van began in early 2025 through a partnership with Jameel Motors as the UK local distributor. Farizon has also opened a flagship dealership in London's Park Royal and appointed two dealer franchises in Britain.

As of late July 2025, Farizon has not announced UK availability or launch dates for the X-Van itself. While some reports suggest a planned fall 2025 launch for the X-Van, it's unclear whether this includes the UK market. It's possible that the X-Van could debut in other markets, such as China, where it is priced around £28,000, before potentially being introduced to the UK.

Meanwhile, German campervan manufacturer Carado has unveiled a unique campervan featuring a permanent staircase, a first in the campervan industry. However, details about the Carado campervan's price, availability, and other specifics outside of China are not discussed in this article.

In summary, Farizon's X-Van electric campervan is developed and available in China but is not planned for UK release in the short to medium term, although Farizon's other electric commercial vans are already entering the UK market. Stay tuned for updates on the potential UK launch of the X-Van.
