Emirates Group to Move Data Centre to the World's Biggest Solar-Powered Building Through Partnership with Moro Hub
The Emirates Group has announced a strategic partnership with Moro Hub, a subsidiary of Digital DEWA, to strengthen its digital transformation and sustainability journey. This collaboration will see the Emirates Group relocate its data centre operations to the world's largest solar-powered data facility at the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park.
Certified by Guinness World Records, the solar-powered data facility will be powered by 3,000 megawatts of clean energy annually, reinforcing the Emirates Group's commitment to sustainability. This partnership underscores Dubai's focus on sustainable economic development and its ambition to be a global leader in sustainable economic development.
Moro Hub will provide a full suite of co-location services, including rack space, power, cooling, and equipment supply, enabling the Emirates Group to innovate in areas like AI, cloud computing, and data management.
