In the Dante Controller mode, the CBOX-HA leverages the powerful Dante API (DAPI) to enable discovery, management, and signal routing of any Dante-compatible devices—including AVPro Edge’s own, AudioControl devices, and third-party Dante-enabled solutions. This makes it a comprehensive controller for audio-over-IP systems across multiple manufacturers.
Key new features include support for both 1G and 10G operation within MXnet AV over IP ecosystems, simplifying upgrades and system integration. The CBOX-HA also introduces unified discovery and routing of Dante audio devices on the network, thereby simplifying configuration and management of audio systems.
Upcoming ease-of-use improvements such as a mode select wizard at initial startup are designed to make mode configuration faster and eliminate setup guesswork.
