Fender Unveils Breakup Drive & Hammertone Boost Pedals for Under £100

Fender has expanded its Hammertone lineup with two new guitar effects pedals: the Breakup Drive and the Hammertone Boost. Both pedals are compact, versatile, and affordably priced at £75/$99 each, offering premium features in a player-centric design.

The Breakup Drive is an overdrive pedal tailored for low to mid-gain needs. It boasts two selectable clipping modes and a switchable pre-gain mid boost, allowing guitarists to shape their tone with ease. Inspired by amp-style drive, it's perfect for blues guitar playing.

The Hammertone Boost, on the other hand, is a versatile active 2-band EQ with controls for Treble and Bass. It offers two boost flavours: JFET-style and op-amp, catering to different tonal preferences. Both pedals feature amp-style knobs, industrial aluminum enclosures, and top-mounted jacks for convenient pedalboard mounting.

Both pedals can be powered by either a battery or a 9V pedalboard power supply and feature soft-touch relay true bypass with auto bypass. The series reflects Fender's commitment to vintage design and premium hardware, with input from master builders in the Custom Shop.

The Fender American Ultra Luxe Vintage series, which includes these pedals, showcases Fender's dedication to player-centric craftsmanship. The Breakup Drive and Hammertone Boost offer high-quality, affordable options for guitarists seeking to enhance their pedalboard setup.
