Fibre optic extension broadens in Koblenz, with Lützel and Neuendorf receiving upgrades

Deutsche Telekom is expanding its fiber-optic network in Koblenz, aiming to provide ultra-fast and stable internet connections to residents and businesses in the districts of Lutzel and Neuendorf. Around 4,000 households and businesses in Lutzel, and approximately 3,100 households and businesses in Neuendorf will have access to FTTH (Fiber to the Home) connections.

The expansion includes detailed planning and civil engineering work, with Deutsche Telekom acquiring local companies to aid in the expansion. Relevant permit applications will be submitted to bring fiber optic cables into homes.

Mayor David Langner of Koblenz expressed delight about Deutsche Telekom's network expansion in the city, acknowledging the significant benefits it will bring to the community.
