Al Ahly FC has sealed its position as the first African football club to join FIFA Collect, launched back in 2023 in partnership with blockchain software firm Modex.
In a nod to the partnership, Amir Tawfik, CEO of Egypt's Al Ahly FC, said:

On May 15, the first Al Ahly FC NFT collection, the 'Jersey of Glory,' will debut on FIFA+ Collect. This collection spans iconic jerseys worn by Al Ahly stars throughout their illustrious history, from championship-clinching seasons to continental triumphs. The collection offers rewards beyond measure, including:
