FSA Upgrades Components for 2025 Trail, Enduro, and Downhill Markets: New Bars, Wheels, and Cranks Introduced
Revamped FSA Gravity Line Unveiled, Ready to Conquer World Cup DH Scene
Get ready for a game-changer in gravity components! It's FSA's revamped Gradient collection, tailored for high-level trail, enduro, and downhill riding. This lineup includes wheels, cranks, bars, and stems, all engineered in collaboration with the elite riders from Atherton Racing Team. The collection is a black beauty, sporting a minimalist, tone-on-tone logo. Launched in 2023, the design, testing, and production have been managed in-house. So, what exactly has changed?
This is FSA's first update to the Gradient lineup since 2021.
Here's the lowdown on the revamped Gradient line:
- The range includes i30 carbon wheels, carbon and alloy riser bars, stems, and more.
- The new logo graces the redesign, spotlighting the iconic FSA 3 stripes.
- The Gradient line of products has been engineered alongside pro riders like the Athertons and Charlie Hatton.
- The majority of the aluminum construction employs CNC machining.
The i30 carbon wheels employ variable rim height for superior adaptability across terrains.
Gradient i30 Carbon Wheels
First up is the new 29-inch i30 carbon wheels with a 24mm depth, 37mm width, and 30mm internal diameter. Featuring PRS X-900 hubs with 72 point engagement, they optimize power transfer and acceleration. And thanks to a 22-24mm variable rim height, these wheels adapt beautifully to diverse terrains. The Gradient i30 wheels cost £1,499.
The Gradient cranks boast an impressive 40% increase in strength compared to KFX cranks.
Gradient Crankset
A new DH and Enduro crankset draws our attention – the Gradient Crankset Modular 1X DM. It's offered in 165, 170, and 175mm lengths, and with 30, 32, 34, or 36t options. Built using CNC-machined aluminum, the crank arms are reinforced through anodization, offering durability. The Gradient alloy crank arm will set you back £399, while the chainring goes for £134.99.
You can choose between alloy and carbon on the new Gradient bars.
Gradient Handlebars
FSA has given its handlebars a facelift, now offering both carbon and alloy options. You can find 35mm and 31.8mm options in various rise options, ranging from 20-40mm depending on the model. The Gradient Alloy Riser bars are priced at £99.99, and the Gradient Carbon Riser bars at £184.99.
For e-bikers and DH riders with dual-crown forks, the direct mount stems are ideal.
Gradient Stems
Two new stems are joining the family this year: the OS35/31.8 STD and the Direct Mount stems. The former comes in lengths of 33mm, 45mm, and 50mm and is compatible with 1 1/8in steerers. The Direct Mount stem features an adjustable length of 45-50mm, complete with a 5mm stack spacer and no-gap faceplate. Both are crafted from CNC aluminum and sell for £99.99.
All products are now available at FSA dealers.
