GIGABYTE unveils its AI-powered computers - GIGABYTE AERO X16 and GIGABYTE GAMING A16 now accessible for purchase.

In a move to cater to the growing demands of gamers and creatives, GIGABYTE has expanded its 2025 AI PC portfolio with the launch of the AERO X16 and GAMING A16 laptops. These 16-inch high-performance machines, designed for gaming and creative work, offer distinct features and specifications to cater to different user needs.

The AERO X16, with its emphasis on thin, light design, is tailored for creators requiring a blend of portability and power. It boasts an AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 processor based on Zen 5 architecture, offering 8 cores and 16 threads, and a clock speed of up to 5.0 GHz. This modern and powerful CPU ensures smoother multitasking and enhanced gaming performance compared to the Gaming A16's older Intel i7-13620H CPU.

Both laptops are equipped with next-gen NVIDIA® GeForce RTXTM 50 Series Laptop GPUs. The AERO X16 features a GeForce RTX 5060 with 8 GB GDDR7, while the GAMING A16 sports a GeForce RTX 5070 Mobile, both supporting up to 80 W Max Graphics Power.

The AERO X16 also boasts higher RAM capacity (32 GB vs. 16 GB) and faster RAM (5600 MHz vs. 5200 MHz) in the DDR5 format, which benefits content creation workloads and gaming. The display on the AERO X16 is a high-refresh-rate, high-brightness matte IPS panel suitable for creators requiring color accuracy plus gaming smoothness.

On the other hand, the GAMING A16 targets a more budget-conscious gamer with a solid RTX 5070 GPU but an older CPU and lower RAM by default, making it a suitable choice for gaming primarily. It features a 16" WQXGA panel with a 165Hz refresh rate, providing smooth visuals for gaming and fast response times.

Both laptops integrate advanced AI voice control features via the GiMATE AI Agent, enabling intuitive "Press & Speak" voice control, smart tuning, and privacy features. They are also built on an AI-ready platform with NVIDIA NIM, allowing users to create personal AI agents and streamline workflows.

The AERO X16 weighs 1.9kg and is 16.75mm thin, while the GAMING A16 weighs 2.2kg. Both laptops offer versatile connectivity, with Wi-Fi 6E, LAN port, HDMI 2.1, and USB4 on the AERO X16, and similarly ample connectivity options on the Gaming A16, although the details are less specified.

The AERO X16 comes in Space Gray or Lunar White, featuring an iridescent NIL design with a refined sandblasted finish. The GAMING A16 has a 180° lay-flat hinge and smart WINDFORCE cooling with surround vents and an Icy Touch zone.

The GIGABYTE AERO X16 and GAMING A16 are now available through retailers. With their advanced features and high-performance capabilities, these laptops are set to revolutionise the gaming and creative landscape.

The AERO X16, a sleek and powerful laptop tailored for creators, showcases advanced technology with an AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 processor, while the GAMING A16, aimed at budget-conscious gamers, uses an Intel i7-13620H CPU. Both devices, incorporating the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs, leverage technology to enhance gaming and creative performance.
