Global conglomerate AVPro Global completes purchase of Remote Technologies Incorporated.
AVPro Global Holdings LLC, the parent company behind AVPro Edge, AudioControl Pro, Bullet Train, ThenAudio, and Murideo, has announced plans to acquire Remote Technologies Incorporated (RTI), a leading provider of intelligent home and business control and automation solutions.
The acquisition aims to bring together two industry innovators, creating synergies that will enhance offerings for residential and commercial integration partners. RTI's portfolio includes remote controls, automation apps, processors, touch panels, keypads, and AV signal routing solutions, which will integrate with AVPro's audio and video signal connectivity products.
This synergy is expected to accelerate the development of system drivers, enabling the integration of AVPro Edge and AudioControl products with a variety of third-party automation platforms and brands. On the other hand, AVPro's rapid product development and robust manufacturing resources are expected to help RTI deliver more impactful products at competitive prices and greater speed.
Jeff Murray, founder and CEO of AVPro, expressed his excitement about the acquisition, stating, "The combination of RTI’s advanced control technologies with our rapid product development capabilities and manufacturing prowess will allow us to set new standards for connected experiences." Joe Roberts, CEO of RTI, shared similar sentiments, saying, "Joining AVPro Global represents an exciting opportunity to amplify RTI’s impact in the control and automation market."
Through this acquisition, AVPro hopes to deliver a broader product portfolio, expanded market reach, and improved support and stability to its customers and integrators. The merger is set to drive faster innovation, more efficient manufacturing, and a stronger market presence by leveraging the complementary strengths of both organizations.
The acquisition by AVPro Global Holdings is intended to unite two pioneers in their industries, creating a synergy that will lead to the integration of RTI's finance-driven control and automation solutions with AVPro's technology-led audio and video signal connectivity products in both residential and commercial sectors. This union is expected to accelerate the development of system drivers, enabling the integration of AVPro's Edge and AudioControl products with various third-party automation platforms and brands, while also allowing RTI to deliver more affordable and quickly produced products with increased impact.
