Google's Pixel Watch 4 has officially arrived, maintaining the same price point as its previous model
At the Made by Google 2025 event, tech giant Google unveiled its latest smartwatch, the Pixel Watch 4. Developed and marketed by Google, the Pixel Watch 4 promises an enhanced user experience, longer battery life, and a sleek design.
The Pixel Watch 4 is available in two sizes: a 41mm version and a 45mm version. The 41mm version starts at $349.99 for Wi-Fi connectivity, while the 45mm version retails for $399.99 for Wi-Fi and $499.99 for LTE. Pre-orders for the Pixel Watch 4 are now open, with shipping scheduled for Oct. 9.
One of the standout features of the Pixel Watch 4 is its expanded band options. Users can choose from a variety of metal links, woven, leather, stretch bands, and new shades, adding a personal touch to the device. The Pixel Watch 4 is available for pre-order at the Pixel Store and Amazon, among other retailers.
The Pixel Watch 4 boasts a larger display compared to its predecessor, the Watch 3. The 45mm model's display is approximately 10% larger, with a nearly edge-to-edge design. The Pixel Watch 4's brightness can reach up to 3,000 nits, a significant improvement over the Watch 3's 2,000 nits.
Battery life is another area where the Pixel Watch 4 excels. The 45mm model promises up to 40 hours of usage, while the 41mm model offers around 30 hours. With the Battery Saver mode engaged, users can expect up to 72 hours on the 45mm model and 48 hours on the 41mm model. The Pixel Watch 4 also charges faster than the Watch 3, reaching 50% charge in just 15 minutes.
The Pixel Watch 4 is Google's best watch for experiencing the Google Gemini AI chatbot. This advanced AI technology promises to make the Pixel Watch 4 a versatile and intelligent companion for its users.
The Pixel Watch 4 is available in four new finishes: Matte Black, Polished Silver, Champagne Gold, and Rose Quartz. With its improved features, expanded customisation options, and sleek design, the Pixel Watch 4 is set to redefine wearable technology.
