High-resolution travel audio accessories debut from iFi, perfect for summer vacation soundtracks.

iFi introduced two new travel accessories to enhance wireless high-resolution audio for your summer vacations. The Up Travel Bluetooth DAC offers compatibility with in-car and inflight entertainment systems, while the Go Pod Air integrates the feature with in-ear headphones (IEMs).

The Go Pod Air is a smaller, more budget-friendly version of the previous Go Pod. In contrast, the Up Travel is a completely new product.

By connecting it to an in-car or inflight entertainment system, the Up Travel wirelessly transmits sound via Bluetooth to wireless headphones. Additionally, it streams high-resolution Bluetooth audio to car aux inputs, ideal for road trips. Weighing just 25g, it is light enough to carry around, and its 10-hour battery life is suitable for long-haul flights.

The twin headphone support feature allows you to share your movie, playlist, or podcast with a friend. It operates on iFi's "hi-fi-grade architecture," which promises to deliver maximum performance from separate audio stages.

Its 3.5mm connector extends out with the press of a button, much like a car key fob. In Transmitter mode, it sends audio from an inflight system or laptop's 3.5mm headphone jack to your headphones, while in Receiver mode, it does the same from your car's aux input.

The iFi Up Travel is the only device of its kind to use "true hi-fi-grade architecture." It utilizes the Qualcomm QCC51xx series Bluetooth chipset to ensure high-quality Bluetooth codec performance—namely SBC, AAC, aptX (Classic, Low-Latency, Adaptive), LDAC, and LHDC/HWA—improving stability. The Cirrus Logic MasterHIFI DAC provides detailed and accurate sound with an extensive dynamic range and minimal distortion. Furthermore, it employs iFi's custom clocking circuitry to keep all components functioning optimally. A built-in microphone with Qualcomm's cVc noise and echo suppression technology ensures clear hands-free calls.

The Up Travel is now available for £99/$99 (approximately AU$200), while the Go Pod Air costs £249/$249 (approximately AU$500).
