Hocco Scoops Up Rs 115 Crore Funding to Boost Ice Cream Empire
Hocco, a premium ice cream brand established in 2022, has secured Rs 115 crore (around $13 million) in a new funding round led by Sauce.VC. This investment values the company at Rs 2,000 crore. The brand has already made a significant impact with its innovative ice cream products and expansion plans.
Hocco has introduced over 150 SKUs, including unique offerings like BIX and the Oh-Cone, and expanded its Huber & Holly brand into packaged retail with indulgent ice cream flavors such as Salted Caramel Popcorn and Sicilian Pistachio. The company aims to reach a daily production capacity of 3 lakh litres by the summer of 2026, positioning it as one of the largest and most advanced ice cream production facilities in India.
The latest capital will be used to bolster manufacturing capacity, strengthen cold-chain infrastructure, develop new ice cream products, and extend Hocco's reach across India and select global markets. Hocco distributes its ice cream products through a variety of channels, including retail outlets, quick commerce platforms, and travel-linked channels. This funding round comes nearly four months after Hocco secured $10 million in its Series B financing, led by the Chona Family Office and Sauce.VC.
