Illegal apps have been barred from the App Store.

Hey there!

You gotta watch out for shady online casinos, folks. According to the official word from the commission, those who stumble upon these unlicensed operators should immediately report any violations.

Recently, a total of 81 dodgy applications were given the boot from both the App Store and Google Play. That's right, 50 from the App Store, another 12, and 19 from Google Play.

Back in April, the NSDC decided to crack down on online casinos and halt the actions of illegal operators. Among the decisions made were the establishment of procedures to snuff out every hand of advertising for gambling, even electronic ones, and the blocking of gambling resources without a license.

Now, if we focus on Michigan, things are getting real serious. The Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) is taking no prisoners. They've issued cease-and-desist orders to 11 unlicensed online casinos, including Club Player Casino, 7 Bets Casino, NinBet Casino, and a few others. These operators have 14 days to shape up before they face legal action, working hand in hand with the Michigan Attorney General's Office.

The MGCB's primary goal is to protect Michigan residents from underhanded practices like withholding winnings, excessive wagering requirements, and the financial and data risks associated with unregulated platforms. They're all about maintaining a fair and secure gaming environment.

As for app stores, they follow strict guidelines for gambling apps, too. Both the App Store and Google Play demand compliance with local laws and regulations, and they restrict apps to certain jurisdictions where they're legally allowed. When apps fail to comply, they're given the heave-ho.

So, keep your eyes peeled for shady operators and report them. Let's keep the fun fair and well, legal! 😉

  • To ensure a safe gaming experience, it's crucial to avoid unlicensed casinos that may restrict fair play and compromise your finances.
  • The Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) is actively curbing the activities of 11 unlicensed online casinos, including Club Player Casino and NinBet Casino.
  • In an attempt to maintain a secure gaming environment, the MGCB is taking stern measures against practices like withholding winnings, excessive wagering requirements, and data risks associated with unregulated platforms.
  • Both the App Store and Google Play have strict guidelines for gambling apps, requiring compliance with local laws and regulations, and they restrict such apps to jurisdictions where they're legally allowed, swiftly removing those that fail to meet these standards.
