Inkas Armors Toyota Land Cruiser Prado into a Mobile Fortress
Inkas Armored has unveiled a new level of security with its conversion of the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 250 Series into an armored vehicle. This isn't just a beefed-up SUV; it's a fully mobile fortress designed for high-risk personnel and tactical operations.
The transformation was carried out by KAHN Design, who reinforced the Prado's bumpers and upgraded its suspension to handle the increased kerb weight. But the upgrades don't stop there. Optional features include under-bonnet armour, a fire suppression system, an oxygen filtration unit, strobe lighting, night vision gear, and a roof-mounted emergency escape hatch. Even with significant tire damage, the vehicle can keep moving thanks to its run-flat tires.
The Inkas Land Cruiser Prado is BR6 ballistic certified, offering protection against 7.62mm assault rifle fire and hand grenade blasts. Despite its military-grade reinforcement, the vehicle maintains a subtle exterior, concealing its covert yet uncompromising protection. Its construction includes overlapping joints and sealed seams for full envelope protection, complying with European CEN 1063 standards. The entire passenger cell is reinforced with ballistic steel plating, multi-layer ballistic glass, a rear bulkhead, and armored floors and pillars.
The armored Land Cruiser Prado retains Toyota's powerful 3.4-litre twin-turbo V6 hybrid powertrain, delivering 243kW and 618Nm, with no powertrain modifications indicated. This vehicle is designed for specialized use, offering high-risk personnel and tactical operations teams a secure and capable mode of transport.
