Flipspaces Secures Additional $50 Million in Series C Funding Round

Flipspaces, a business-driven interior design and build company, has announced that it can secure an additional $50 million in its Series C funding round. This latest funding round brings the company's cumulative Series C capital raised to over $85 million.

Founded in 2015 by Kunal Sharma, Ankur Muchhal, Vikash Anand, and Mrinal Sharma, Flipspaces operates with a platform-driven model that connects business development, design, supply chain, and project management. The firm's portfolio includes over 1,000 projects covering more than eight million square feet across India, the United States, and the UAE.

The Series C funding round was supported by a number of investors, including CE-Invests, headquartered in the UAE, Panthera Growth Partners of Singapore, and Japan's SMBC Asia Rising Fund. Synergy Capital Partners and Prashasta Seth also supported the earlier investment, which followed a $35 million investment earlier this year led by Iron Pillar. The early investor group that exited during Flipspaces' Series C funding round is Carpe Diem.

Kunal Sharma, the founder and CEO of Flipspaces, has announced plans to deploy the proceeds from the Series C funding round in three areas: strengthening Flipspaces' proprietary technology with AI-led tools, scaling geographic footprint, and pursuing acquisitions in the United States, the UAE, and India.

In India, Flipspaces has focused largely on office design, while in the United States, it has worked extensively with restaurants and cafes. The company's enterprise resource planning system allows for immersive virtual-reality walkthroughs, enabling clients to visualize and modify spaces in real time.

Flipspaces is also developing artificial-intelligence software to improve efficiency, cost transparency, and timely delivery in the interior design and build industry. The company has recently added large enterprise clients such as Adani, Genpact, and Larsen & Toubro to its portfolio, demonstrating its growing presence in the market.

With this latest funding round, Flipspaces is poised to expand operations across India, the United States, and the United Arab Emirates, and to pursue acquisitions as part of its growth strategy. The company's mission is to revolutionize the interior design and build industry, and this latest investment brings it one step closer to achieving that goal.
