Irizar Unveils 100% Electric Coach i3 Normal Floor at Busworld Europe
Irizar has introduced the Irizar i3 Normal Floor, a 100% electric coach, at Busworld Europe. This new model boasts improved safety features, increased passenger and luggage space, and a range of up to 450 km on a single charge.
The Irizar i3 Normal Floor is designed with the electrical and fuse unit positioned in the driver's area for easier access and enhanced safety during roadside servicing. The model adheres to the latest safety and regulatory requirements, including European GSR2 regulations, R155, R156, and R29 standards.
The vehicle offers over 7 m3 of luggage space, providing ample room for passengers' belongings. It also features a reworked exterior with a more angular front, increasing both passenger and luggage capacity. The i3 is a fully electric, zero-emission vehicle, ideal for intercity operations.
Under the hood, the i3's electronic architecture enables data analysis for diagnostics and preventive maintenance. This feature, combined with shared components with other Irizar models, simplifies spare parts management and maintenance.
