Jac Unveils Revolutionary De-Fine Concept Car in Melbourne
Chinese commercial-vehicle specialist Jac has unveiled a revolutionary concept car, the Jac De-Fine, at the Melbourne Motor Show. The vehicle, built on a new architecture and technology base, including the Cross-Domain Integration Intelligent Chassis, has garnered attention for its innovative features and design.
The De-Fine offers an immersive driving experience with its sophisticated human-vehicle interaction cockpit. This includes ambient lighting, sound, and voice interaction, making it perfect for movie watching and interactive gaming. Power options include six-way active control, electric and hybrid variants, and rechargeable, exchangeable energy sources. The 800-volt electrical system boasts a 460kW silicon-carbide motor, enabling the De-Fine to accelerate to 100km/h in around 3 seconds in all-wheel-drive mode.
The concept car's design has been recognised with the 2024 Red Dot Award for Outstanding Design Concept. The Skyline Intelligent Cockpit features a panoramic 50-inch forward-mounted curved screen and a 15.6-inch central screen, providing ample display space for various functions.
The Jac De-Fine, launched at the Melbourne Motor Show, is a testament to Jac's commitment to innovation and sustainability. With its advanced technology, immersive driving experience, and award-winning design, the De-Fine sets a new benchmark for concept cars.
