LG Chem Expands Residential Series with Five New Energy Storage Systems

LG Chem is expanding its Residential Series with five new energy storage systems (ESS). These new models, ranging from 3.3 to 9.8 kilowatt-hours, offer both low-voltage (48 V) and high-voltage (400 V) variants. The new systems boast a space-saving design, reducing dimensions and weight, and can be installed both indoors and outdoors without additional structural measures.

LG Chem's new cells feature high energy density and improved mechanical stability. This innovation enables high energy density in the RESU systems. The RESU Plus module allows combining two ESS within the same voltage class, providing users with more flexibility.

The new high-voltage models support a wider range of photovoltaic news inverters. LG Chem's five new models in the Residential Series are compatible with inverters from Fox Ess, Growatt, SMA, RPI, and Solax. These manufacturers offer devices supporting voltages up to approximately 1000–1100 V for residential use. This compatibility demonstrates LG Chem's commitment to providing comprehensive news solutions for private users.

LG Chem's new Residential Series ESS offer improved performance and versatility. With their high energy density, mechanical stability, and wide inverter compatibility, these systems are designed to meet the diverse needs of modern residential energy storage. The new portfolio's space-saving design and IP55-certified, waterproof housing ensure convenient and reliable installation.
