Lockton Re Boosts Cyber Risk Management with CyberCube's XM Tool and New Global Head

Lockton Re, a leading reinsurance broker, has bolstered its cyber risk management capabilities. The company has adopted CyberCube's Exposure Manager (XM) tool and appointed a new global head of cyber, Ed Le Flufy, based in London.

CyberCube introduced XM earlier this month, enabling reinsurers to assess cyber portfolio risk more effectively. Lockton Re has embraced this technology, using it for deeper analysis of client portfolios and identification of potential blind spots. The tool aggregates detailed, single-risk metrics into portfolio-level information, facilitating quantitative evaluation of cyber risk.

Lockton Re will utilise XM for benchmarking, advisory services, and positioning clients' cyber portfolios in reinsurance deals. The company's Cyber Centre of Excellence head, Oli Brew, praised XM for its ability to provide a more comprehensive view of cyber risks. CyberCube senior principal product manager John Anderson noted that XM was developed in collaboration with industry leaders like Lockton Re.

Lockton Re's adoption of CyberCube's XM and appointment of Ed Le Flufy as global head of cyber signals a commitment to enhancing its cyber risk management services. The company aims to provide clients with more accurate assessments and better positioning in the reinsurance market.
