The data center will be located in a LEED Gold site in the River Ridge Commerce Center's industrial zone, with a focus on renewable energy. Turner, a renowned construction firm, has been selected as the construction partner for the project.
Meta is utilizing prefabricated modular components for assembly, departing from its traditional H-shaped two-building design, likely to support AI-focused computing architectures. This innovative approach is expected to streamline the construction process and reduce environmental impact.

Mayor Mike Moore of Jeffersonville is excited about Meta's presence in the city, stating, "Our community has Meta." The 619-acre site that was saved by River Ridge will benefit greatly from the economic activity surrounding the new data center.
If Meta makes an additional $800 million of eligible investment at the site within that time period, it is exempt from tax for another five years. The data center will be located in a key Indiana industrial corridor, further cementing the state's position as a hub for tech innovation.
