Microsoft Patches Six Zero-Day Windows Flaws, Including NTFS Vulnerabilities

Microsoft has released over 50 security updates for Windows operating systems, addressing several critical vulnerabilities. Among them are six zero-day flaws, including two in the NTFS file system. One notable vulnerability, CVE-2025-24984, affects the NTFS file system and can expose privileged information to log files. Another, CVE-2025-24983, impacts older and some newer Microsoft 365 versions, and was exploited via the PipeMagic backdoor, according to ESET. Microsoft also patched a weakness in Microsoft Management Console (CVE-2025-26633), which requires users to open a malicious file. Six other critical vulnerabilities were fixed, allowing attackers to potentially control vulnerable PCs. Microsoft's latest security updates address a range of serious issues, including several zero-day vulnerabilities. Users are advised to apply these updates promptly to protect their systems.
