MTS & 'Systema' Launch 'Lift to Future' Scholarship for Tech Innovators

MTS and the 'Systema' foundation have launched a scholarship competition for students of universities and secondary vocational education institutions. The competition, titled 'Lift to the Future', aims to support innovative activities in priority areas of scientific and technological development. With 15 nominations dedicated to separate sectors of the economy, curated by leading Russian employers, this year's competition has seen over a third of participants applying for the 'Technologies for Comfortable Living Spaces' nomination, the most popular among applicants.

The 'Technologies for Comfortable Living Spaces' nomination, in partnership with MTS, supports ideas and developments in AI, neural networks, data processing, software products, digital monitoring systems, and smart assistants. Last season, 18,472 students from 77 regions of Russia participated in the competition, demonstrating the high level of interest and engagement among young innovators.

Scholarship winners will receive a monthly stipend of 25,000 rubles for university students and 10,000 rubles for secondary vocational education students. In addition to financial support for five months, winners will also have the opportunity to participate in an internship program with partner companies. However, the specific partner companies involved in the 'Technologies for Comfortable Living Spaces' nomination are not yet known.

Applications for the 'Lift to the Future' scholarship competition are accepted until November 10, 2025. With its focus on fostering innovation and providing opportunities for young talent, the competition continues to grow in popularity, as seen in the high number of applicants for the 'Technologies for Comfortable Living Spaces' nomination. The competition's organisers, MTS and the 'Systema' foundation, aim to support the development of cutting-edge technologies and contribute to Russia's scientific and technological progress.
