New ABGB Edition Released: 4,512 Pages of Legal Updates

The latest edition of the Great Manz Law Edition on the Austrian Civil Code (ABGB) has been released, marking a significant update to the comprehensive legal guide. This 38th edition, created by authors Wilhelm Exler and Ludwig Adamovich, spans 4,512 pages and reflects substantial changes in the law over the past 17 years.

The update process involved a thorough review of 2,555 decisions related to child maintenance, highlighting the evolution of the law in this area. The new edition will continue to be updated online, ensuring it remains current and relevant.

In addition to the ABGB update, the latest issue of Manz's house journal, RECHTaktuell, has been published. This issue commemorates the 20th anniversary of the tax journal taxlex and explores 'Two Decades of Zeller Commentary on Labor Law'. A festschrift honouring Judge Edwin Gitschthaler is also featured in the journal. In the future, Gitschthaler will act as the editor of the Fasching Commentary on the Civil Procedure Acts.
