Polestar 4 Introduces Revolutionary Digital Rearview Mirror
Polestar has revolutionised the mirror, offering drivers and passengers a more comfortable and safer experience. The new digital mirror, introduced in the Polestar 4, can switch between an HD display and a traditional mirror.
The digital mirror, a first for Polestar, uses a 2.5-megapixel camera with a 121-degree field of view. This provides real-time information to the cabin's 8.9-inch HD display. The result is improved driver visibility, particularly in poor lighting or rain conditions.
Ola Aldensjo, Polestar 4 Product Manager, describes the backseat experience as 'business class meets executive lounge'. The digital mirror opens up more space in the back of the car, enhancing passenger comfort and experience. This combination of improved safety and increased comfort is the driving force behind this automotive innovation. The traditional rearview mirror, a century-old staple in car design, has seen little change until recently.
Polestar's digital rearview mirror, a significant departure from the traditional design, offers enhanced driver visibility and passenger comfort. The innovative feature, now available in the Polestar 4, is set to redefine automotive experiences.
