Porsche's First Electric Cayenne Arrives in 2026 With 750kW Power, 600km Range
Porsche is set to unveil its first electric Cayenne later this year, with sales commencing in 2026. The new model, built on the 800-volt PPE architecture, promises impressive power and range, along with a host of innovative features.
The 2026 Cayenne Electric boasts a substantial 108 kWh battery, capable of delivering up to 750 kW of power. Official performance data is yet to be confirmed. Charging is swift, with the ability to go from 10 to 80 percent in around 15 minutes at high-speed charging points exceeding 400kW.
Inside, the cabin showcases an all-new design centered around two touchscreens. The larger screen handles navigation and driving 'mood' modes, while the smaller one controls climate, audio, and communication functions. Physical buttons for climate control and the sound system are also present. An optional 14.9-inch passenger display, the largest ever from Porsche, can be used for gaming or movies with a separate Bluetooth connection.
The Cayenne Electric also features an 11kW inductive wireless charging system, claimed to be up to 90 percent efficient. It is expected to have a range of over 600km. The steering wheel retains proper buttons for functionality, while the passenger display is optional on entry-level models and may be replaced by a blank panel covered in leather or fabric.
The 2026 Porsche Cayenne Electric, set for its world premiere at the end of 2025, promises a blend of impressive performance, innovative technology, and efficient charging. With its large battery and powerful electric motor, it is poised to make a significant impact in the luxury electric SUV segment.
