QuakeCon 2025: GeForce Team Brings Exciting Events & $10K Mod Contest
QuakeCon 2025, the annual gaming festival, is set to take place from August 7th to 10th. Jacob Freeman and the GeForce team will be in attendance, bringing with them a host of exciting events and giveaways.
The event will feature a mod contest hosted by GeForce Garage, with total prizes worth $10,000 up for grabs. The contest will award GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs, gift cards, and a grand prize trip to NVIDIA's headquarters for the best modded PCs and scratch-built systems.
Attendees can also win a custom PC by collecting stamps from demo stations playing DOOM: The Dark Ages, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Doom 2: RAY TRACED, and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered. These custom DOOM: The Dark Ages PCs are provided by NVIDIA as part of their GeForce RTX giveaways.
The GeForce booth will offer chances to win prizes, including three customized DOOM: The Dark Ages PCs and GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs. Viewers tuning in to the stream can also win game codes and a custom wrapped DOOM: The Dark Ages GeForce RTX 5090.
id Software and Bethesda Softworks will host DOOM 2: RAY TRACED and DOOM: The Dark Ages challenges, with entrants receiving custom frisbees and a chance to win a GeForce RTX 5070 Founders Edition GPU.
