Released Notes for Version 2024.33.30: Inclusion of Fleet Self-Driving System (FSD) 12.5.6.2, featuring urban and city profiles for enhanced performance.

Tesla has rolled out software update 2024.33.30 for its Hardware 4 (HW4/AI4) vehicles in North America, bringing a host of new features and improvements to the table.

The highlight of the update is the improved version of Actually Smart Summon (ASS) for public/high-speed roads. This updated feature now allows the vehicle to pause maneuvering when encountering public or high-speed roads, enhancing the safety and efficiency of the Summon behaviour.

Another significant addition is the integration of HomeLink and myQ garage, which is set to be introduced soon. This feature will enable seamless control of garage doors and HomeLink-compatible home automation devices directly from the Tesla's centre console.

The update also refines Summon behaviour at curbs, enhancing Dumb Summon. This means that the vehicle will now handle curbs more smoothly and confidently, providing a better user experience.

In terms of safety, the update reduces False Positive Collision Mitigation Aborts, improving the overall safety of the vehicle. It also includes the feature of Blocked Camera Aborts, which ensures that the vehicle can handle obstructions better and continue its journey safely.

The update also adds a fun new feature: Custom/Fart Completion Sounds. Tesla owners can now personalise the sounds that play when the vehicle completes a maneuver, adding a touch of personality to their driving experience.

Lastly, the update includes Full Self-Driving (FSD) 12.5.6.2 for vehicles with Hardware 4 in North America. The release date for this update was August 25, 2024.

With this latest update, Tesla continues to push the boundaries of what electric vehicles can do, offering its customers a safer, smoother, and more personalised driving experience.
