Retro Casing of Silverstone FLP02 Revives Classic Turbo Button Feature
The Silverstone FLP02, a tower case that pays homage to the layout and design of computers from the 1990s, is set to launch in Germany in October 2025. With a price tag of approximately 150 euros, this case promises to bring a touch of nostalgia while offering modern features.
The FLP02 case, weighing approximately 9.79 kg, is made of plastic and steel, offering a sturdy structure for your build. It boasts dimensions of 472 × 232 × 494 mm (54.09 liters), providing ample space for your components.
The case accommodates radiators up to 360mm in size on the top, catering to the needs of those who prefer liquid cooling. It comes with two 120mm fans at the front, one 120mm fan at the rear, and allows for optional fans of 160/140mm or 3 × 120mm at the top, ensuring optimal airflow.
The I/O panel on the FLP02 is hidden under a flap above the drive bays, keeping the front clean and minimalistic. It includes 2 USB 3.0, 1 USB 3.0 Type C, and HD-Audio ports, providing all the necessary connectivity options. The power button on the front panel is implemented as a toggle switch and can be locked with a key for added security.
The FLP02 also features a fan hub on the rear of the panel that can control up to eight fans, making fan management a breeze. The case has a total of 7 expansion slots, catering to those who prefer to build with high-end graphics cards.
The case design includes three 5.25" bays, whose covers mimic the design of large floppy drives, adding to its vintage charm. Inside, it has a combination of internal drive bays for 2.5
