SciencesPo Honors Exceptional Thesis Research in Tech & Policy
SciencesPo will host the inaugural Master's Thesis Prize on Technology, Global Affairs & Public Policy award ceremony on October 7 at 18:00. The event, held in room B108, 1 Saint-Thomas d'Aquin, will see Lola Pottier and Markus Bencsits present their groundbreaking research.
Lola Pottier's thesis, 'Assessing the Digital Services Act's effectiveness in fostering meaningful transparency in social media platforms - The case of Meta', explores the impact of the Digital Services Act on social media platforms. Meanwhile, Markus Bencsits' work, 'The relationship between demand-side incentives for electric vehicles and clean patent filings', delves into the connection between electric vehicle demand and clean patent filings.
The ceremony will be graced by a distinguished jury comprising Jean-Philippe Cointet, Ronja Sczepanski, Damien Bol, and Emiliano Grossman.
