Siemens Unveils Optimize MyProgramming /3D Scanner at EMO 2025

Siemens has successfully trialled its Optimize MyProgramming /3D Scanner with DMG MORI, with plans to offer it as a standard option on their Sinumerik One-equipped machines. The software, developed in collaboration with DMG MORI, will make its debut at EMO 2025.

The solution, part of Siemens' Xcelerator portfolio, streamlines CNC programming directly on the Sinumerik Operate control. This eliminates manual data entry, reducing errors and saving time. It merges advanced 3D analysis technologies with programming capabilities on the CNC control itself, aiming to enhance efficiency, precision, and production quality.

The system uses intelligent 3D scanning to provide tailored machining strategy recommendations, improving parameterization and production quality. It automatically transfers geometric data from 3D CAD models into CNC programs, further reducing costs and time.

Siemens' launch of Optimize MyProgramming /3D Scanner underscores its commitment to advancing digitalized manufacturing. The solution, set to be unveiled at EMO 2025, promises significant process optimization for manufacturing, making it a notable addition to the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio.
