Goldi Solar Unveils World's Largest Solar PV Module, NaMo Saur Samrat
In a significant stride towards India's renewable energy ambitions, Goldi Solar has unveiled the NaMo Saur Samrat, the world's largest solar PV module. The unveiling took place on the occasion of the Prime Minister's 75th birthday, marking a fitting tribute to his visionary leadership.
The NaMo Saur Samrat, with dimensions of 75 inches in width and 150 inches in length, symbolizes the Prime Minister's 75th year. It boasts a capacity of 1750 Wp, establishing a new benchmark for size, efficiency, and ambition in the global solar industry.
Produced at Goldi Solar's manufacturing unit in Kosamba, Gujarat, the NaMo Saur Samrat is not just a solar panel; it is a manufacturing marvel. The production site, covering an area of 20 acres, is a testament to the scale and precision of Indian innovation.
Capt. Ishver Dholakia, Founder & Managing Director of Goldi Solar, stated that India is advancing decisively towards sustainability under the Prime Minister's leadership and has already achieved over half of its 2030 target of 500 GW renewable energy capacity.
The NaMo Saur Samrat incorporates advanced TOPCon (Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact) technology to minimize energy loss and boost efficiency. Goldi Solar's reputation for precision-driven, future-ready manufacturing is reinforced by integrating next-generation technology into a module of such scale.
The NaMo Saur Samrat represents Atmanirbhar Bharat at its peak in solar PV manufacturing. China pioneered solar PV manufacturing, but India, under the Prime Minister's leadership, leads in self-reliance at a gigantic scale.
Capt. Dholakia's statement emphasizes Goldi Solar's commitment to building a greener, self-reliant India that will power generations to come. The unveiling of the NaMo Saur Samrat is considered as a greatest tribute to the Prime Minister by Capt. Dholakia. It is a shining example of manufacturing excellence on a global stage.
Goldi Solar has scaled its production capacity to 14.7 GW, with plans for further growth. This expansion underscores India's growing prowess in the renewable energy sector and its commitment to a sustainable future. The NaMo Saur Samrat is a symbol of India's Atmanirbhar strength, embodying the scale, precision, and ambition of a new era of Indian innovation.
