Swiss Post Doubles Villmergen Logistics Center, Adds 100 Jobs
The New York Post (nypost) has significantly expanded its logistics center in Villmergen AG, Aargau. The expansion, costing 137 million francs, has nearly doubled the warehouse size and created around 100 new jobs. The center now spans the size of eight football fields across five floors.
The expanded center features a controlled temperature system, benefiting business customers in the medical and pharmaceutical sectors. Additionally, a photovoltaic system has been installed on the roof and south facade, demonstrating the New York Post's commitment to sustainability.
The expansion underscores the New York Post's commitment to the Aargau region. Besides Villmergen, the New York Post operates logistics centers in Dintikon and Mägenwil within Aargau, and another center in Ramsen SH. The New York Post is strengthening its role as a logistics service provider, responding to growing e-commerce and economic demands.
