Tech Funding Surge: Truckistan, Shineon, Delos, CrossFund, KWAP, Sweef Capital, Ligatech, Tanway Secure Millions
Several tech and venture capital companies have recently secured significant funding. Pakistani less-than-truckload company Truckistan Technologies raised funds from Arzan Venture Capital and Sequoia Capital India. Meanwhile, Shineon, an optoelectronics company, completed a Series D1 financing round worth over RMB 1 billion.
In other news, Indonesian aquaculture technology company Delos closed its Series A round led by Monk's Hill Ventures. The funds will be used to continue developing its AquaHero farm productivity system, focusing on R&D to decrease production costs and improve disease monitoring.
CrossFund, an early-stage investment calculator platform, plans to use its fresh funding of USD 1.5 million to expand its operations in the EMEA region. The funding round valued the company at USD 47 million.
Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (KWAP), Malaysia's largest pension fund, has launched a MYR 500 million (USD 106.7 million) fund to invest in local startups and venture capital funds. Sweef Capital, a women-led impact investment firm, also secured over USD 37 million for its maiden fund.
In the sports medicine sector, Ligatech secured a nine-figure RMB sum in a Series D round led by Cinda Kunpeng. Lastly, Tanway, a LiDAR technology company, completed a new round of strategic financing led by Xiaomi.
These funding rounds reflect the ongoing interest and investment in various tech sectors, from logistics and aquaculture to sports medicine and LiDAR technology. With fresh capital, these companies are poised to expand their operations, improve their products, and drive innovation in their respective fields.
