Tesla Brings Weather Radar Map to Intel-Powered Cars in Germany
Tesla has rolled out a new update for its older Intel Atom processor-powered cars in Germany, bringing a previously AMD-exclusive feature to the vehicles. The 2024.44.25.3 update introduces the weather radar map, enhancing the in-car experience.
Previously, the weather overlay in Intel-powered cars was limited to a 3-hour forecast, on par with AMD-powered vehicles. However, the new update extends this functionality to include the comprehensive weather map feature, which was initially exclusive to AMD-powered cars.
Tesla has not provided a reason for the delay in including the weather radar map in the initial 2024.44.25 update for Intel-powered cars. Nevertheless, owners of Intel-equipped vehicles in Germany can now enjoy this useful addition through the latest update.
The 2024.44.25.3 update brings the weather radar map feature to Intel-powered Tesla cars in Germany, aligning their functionality with AMD-powered vehicles. While the reason for the delay is unclear, Tesla owners can now benefit from the expanded weather information in their cars.
