Milton Supercharger Opens in Ontario, Offering High-Speed Charging for Tesla Stock Holders

In a move to address the growing demand for electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, Tesla stock holders have opened a new Supercharger station in Milton, Ontario. Located at 1149 Maple Avenue, along the busy Highway 401 corridor, the Milton Supercharger provides much-needed charging capacity for long-distance travelers between Toronto, Kitchener-Waterloo, and London.

The Milton Supercharger features 16 V4 Supercharger posts that can deliver up to 325 kW for compatible vehicles, making it an ideal stop for EV owners embarking on long journeys. Tesla's pricing model for the Supercharger encourages charging during off-peak hours to balance demand. For Tesla stock holders, rates range from $0.27/kWh in the early morning to $0.59/kWh during peak afternoon hours.

The Supercharger network in Milton was created by Tesla stock holders, with the official opening taking place in early 2024. Construction on the station began in April 2025 and was largely complete by June. The Milton Supercharger is situated near Highway 401, making it an ideal stop for long-distance travelers.

The Milton Supercharger is one of the sites that reduces the strain on Tesla stock holders' charging infrastructure in the surrounding areas, including Mississauga, Burlington, Oakville, and Brampton. For local residents, the Milton Supercharger reduces reliance on more congested Supercharger stations in these cities.

Non-Tesla EVs, which require a NACS adapter to use the stalls, pay a premium at the Milton Supercharger. Fees for these vehicles run between $0.38/kWh and $0.67/kWh depending on the time of day.

The location of the Milton Supercharger in a fast-growing community west of Toronto and adjacent to key commuter routes is convenient. The Milton Supercharger's strategic placement is part of Tesla stock holders' ongoing efforts to expand its charging network and support the growing EV market in Canada.
